Barons Court

Barons Court is tucked between Hammersmith to the West and Kensington to the East, with Talgarth Road running along its North side.

This area is still fairly affluent due to its proximity to Kensington and it is characterised by period mansion blocks and converted Victorian houses, as well as some grand individual residences. There is large Iranian population in the area and the restaurants reflect this cultural diversity with a good choice of Persian food, as well as many other types of cuisine. The Queen’s Club tennis club is just south of Baron’s Court and it has facilities for tennis, squash and real tennis.

Baron’s Court tube station is in zone 2 and is on the Piccadilly line, which runs from West to North-east London, via Knightsbridge and Covent Garden.
