Kentish Town

Kentish Town is a vibrant, urban area within the London Borough of Camden, sitting on the southern edge of Hampstead Heath.

It’s an area well known for its pubs and bars, one of the most notable being the Bull and Gate pub on Kentish Town Road, which has seen performances from bands such as Blur, The Libertines and Coldplay. The main high street also has a vibrant shopping area, including many independent shops, as well as a disused tube station – South Kentish Town – closed in 1924.  The area boasts a mix of properties, including many impressive period houses, especially around Lady Margaret Road.

Kentish Town tube station, situated on Kentish Town Road, sits on the High Barnet / Mill Hill branch of the Northern Line and is in zone 2. There is also an overground, Kentish Town West, which offers access to the North London Line.
