Advice on choosing a solicitor for your Tottenham Property
We would always recommend using a local solicitor for the conveyancing work on your property. Although large conveyancing specialists may be able to do the job slightly cheaper they will not be as accessible as your local solicitors. Things rarely run smoothly when buying or selling and the delays involved in sending documents through the post can be stressful during the days leading up to an exchange.
With conveyancing firms you will not generally have a single point of contact which again can be very frustrating if problems crop up or there are delays. It is comforting to be able to pick up the phone and speak to your own solicitor when you need reassuring on a particular matter.

Information on TottenhamTottenham is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Haringey. Outside of London most people will naturally think of the football team when they hear the word “Tottenham” and their stadium, White Hart Lane, is the areas most famous landmark. Tottenham has a reputation of being a multicultural area and, as with many areas with a high percentage of immigrants, property prices are lower than in some of the more middle class surrounding areas. However, buyers are just starting to see the potential in an area that has good transport links and plenty of character properties.
The closest park to Tottenham is Downhills to the west in the direction of Turnpike Lane. The park has won a prestigious green flag award in both 2006 & 2007. The park offers a nice contrast between the recreational grounds to the west and formal gardens to the east within its fifteen hectares. White Hart Lane National Rail station is situated, not surprisingly, on White Hart Lane from where the “One” line will get you to Liverpool Street in about twenty minutes. The closest tube Station to the area is Tottenham Hale on zone 3 of the Victoria Line.
