What type of property survey should you have?

If you are taking out a mortgage the lender will insist upon carrying out a valuation inspection. Forest Hill is in the London Borough of Lewisham, with Dulwich to the west and Catford to the east.

Forest Hill is a thriving area of southeast London that has enjoyed some redevelopment and a rise in popularity in recent years. There is a central shopping area and the area is also home to the renowned Horniman Museum. This large space houses a number of important exhibitions and is particularly child friendly. There is a range of housing, with everything from Victorian terraces to 1930s semi and detached properties and there are a number of highly rated schools in the nearby vicinity.

The South Circular road provides excellent road links to the rest of south and southeast London whilst Forest Hill railway station has train services into central London. Direct trains to London Bridge take 15 minutes. There are also plenty of local bus routes.
