The area of Peckham Rye is situated to the west of Peckham and to the east of Denmark Hill. It is in the London Borough of Southwark.

Peckham is dominated by the expansive green of Peckham Rye Park, which acts a central link for many smaller areas such as Nunheand and Honor Oak Park. Peckham Rye is a fairly quiet, residential area that consists of smart period properties, which overlook the park, as well as plenty of other good quality housing stock. Its proximity to Dulwich has resulted in a growing popularity of the area and a number of independent bars and restaurants have been springing up around Peckham Rye over the past few years.

Peckham Rye railways station offers direct services to London Bridge, which takes 10 minutes. Various bus routes provide further transport options for the surrounding areas and into central London.
