What type of property survey should you have?

If you are taking out a mortgage the lender will insist upon carrying out a valuation inspection. If any of these exceptions apply a Building Survey, previously known as a Full Structural survey, will be more appropriate.

Information on Kennington

Situated in the London Borough of Lambeth, Kennington lies in between Vauxhall and Walworth. It is a stone’s throw from the River Thames and is a built-up urban area close to the centre of London.

Despite the density of buildings and roads, Kennington is still very much a residential area and its proximity to the centre of town is appealing to people who want to remain centrally located. Kennington Park is a green oasis that provides plenty of leisure pursuits as well as a well-equipped play area and a café. There is a good selection of mixed housing in the area with some large Georgian period properties and a number of council flats and houses.

Kennington underground station is in zone 2 and it is on the Northern line, providing easy access into the centre of town.
