Ladywell is largely a residential area that relies on the major shopping and leisure facilities of Lewisham. There are a substantial number of Victorian properties in this area and prices are lower than in many of the surrounding areas, making it a good choice for people looking to move up the property ladder.
Transport options are good. Ladywell mainline station operates services into Cannon Street and Charing Cross and both of these journeys take approximately 20 minutes. Lewisham station is also close by and this offers the additional option of the DLR station, for services to Bank and Docklands. There are also plenty of local and London-wide bus services.
