What type of property survey should you have?
If you are taking out a mortgage the lender will insist upon carrying out a valuation inspection. Information on South KensingtonSouth Kensington is situated in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and it lies to the south of Knightsbridge and the north of Chelsea.
South Kensington is an affluent area with a range of expensive properties and exclusive shops and restaurants. It is also home to some of the great London cultural centres, including the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum. As such, there is plenty of green space and lots of wide roads and historic buildings. It is also fairly close to Hyde Park so there is no shortage of open space and fresh air.
South Kensington underground station is in zone 1 and it is on the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines, providing access to all parts of London. There are plenty of local buses, as well as some travelling to other parts of London, via the centre of town.
