This residential area of London lies just to the West of Notting Hill in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

Shepherd’s Bush is a popular area of London as it offers relative value for money compared to many of its close neighbours. There is a good variety of housing from purpose built flats to Victorian houses, and its close proximity to central London is appealing to city workers. Shepherd’s Bush Common provides the central focus of the area and offers a small area of parkland. Larger recreational space can be found at the nearby Holland Park. The new Westfield Shopping Centre has injected a commercial and employment boost to the area and is Europe’s largest city shopping centre.

Shepherd’s Bush has both a mainline and a tube station. The tube is on the Central Line in zone 2 and the mainline station operates services to other London destinations such as Clapham Junction (13 minutes).
