What type of property survey should you have?
If you are taking out a mortgage the lender will insist upon carrying out a valuation inspection. If any of these exceptions apply a Building Survey, previously known as a Full Structural survey, will be more appropriate.

Information on HendonHendon is a leafy suburb in the London Borough of Barnet bordering the M1 and the North Circular, and containing the Brent Cross shopping centre.
It has a family feel, with good-sized semi-detached houses, a strong Jewish community, good local schools, substantial greenery, a golf course and its own football team. Middlesex University located its business school here while the area is possibly most famous for its police college and the RAF museum. St Mary’s Church in Church End has a history dating back to Norman times, while the Arsenal legend, Herbert Chapman, is buried in its churchyard.
Hendon Central tube station borders zone 3 and 4, on the Edgware branch of the Northern Line. There are also a number of buses travelling two and from Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
