Located in Enfield Town at the heart of EN2 is the recently extended Palace Exchange Shopping Centre. The complex draws in many shoppers from neighbouring areas. Moving out from the centre there are several large retail parks and a multiplex cinema to the east along the A10.

are those on the south side, close to the border with Winchmore Hill. The roads adjacent to the station, primarily Victorian and 1930s semis, are generally more affordable. The area is somewhat lacking in recreational space with the only park being situated to the North of the area on Lincoln Road.
