West Hendon

West Hendon is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Barnet, close to Brent Cross, Golders Green and Hendon Central.

West Hendon Broadway is sandwiched between the Welsh Harp, also known as Brent Reservoir, and the M1. The reservoir, sitting within the boroughs of both Barnet and Brent, obtained its name because of its harp-like shape and was the site for the rowing competition at the 1948 Olympics. West Hendon is undergoing regeneration courtesy of Barnet Council. The plan is for a general development of the area and new housing on the West Hendon Estate, which sits next to the Welsh Harp.

The closest train station is Hendon, which offers overground travel to St Pancras in 15-20 minutes. The station sits on the boundary of zones 3 and 4.
