Wood Green is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Haringey. If you have ever driven through the area you will know that central Wood Green is dominated by Wood Green Shopping City; as well as containing many of the top high street names there is also a multi screen cinemas complex. There are not any parks with Wood Green itself although Wood Green Common and Rose Garden, to the west of the High Road in the direction of Alexandra Palace, is a very pleasant setting if you enjoy a good read in the open air.

Wood Green has many of the attributes of an area that is on the up; a good stock of period properties, coffee shops opening, interesting restaurants and improving public services. This is in sharp contrast to it old image when it resembled a nuclear testing site. Wood Green Tube Station is situated in Zone 3 of the Piccadilly line from where you can travel to Central London in about 15 minutes.
