Advice on choosing a solicitor for your Alexandra Park Property
We would always recommend using a local solicitor for the conveyancing work on your property. Although large conveyancing specialists may be able to do the job slightly cheaper they will not be as accessible as your local solicitors. Things rarely run smoothly when buying or selling and the delays involved in sending documents through the post can be stressful during the days leading up to an exchange.
With conveyancing firms you will not generally have a single point of contact which again can be very frustrating if problems crop up or there are delays. It is comforting to be able to pick up the phone and speak to your own solicitor when you need reassuring on a particular matter.

Information on Alexandra ParkAlexandra Park is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Haringey. The area is dominated by Alexandra Palace, a vast Victorian Structure sitting on top of a hill and set within 196 acres of glorious parkland. Known affectionately as “Ally Pally” current facilities include a boating lake, ice rink and bar.
The palace and park are now owned by a trust which is required to maintain them and make them available for the free use and recreation of the public forever. There is a wealth of period property in the area from small Victorian cottages to large Edwardian family homes; all considerably more affordable then neighbouring Crouch End and Muswell Hill. Alexandra Park has its own National Rail Station located on Station Road. It is part of the First Capital Connect Line (zone 3) running in to Moorgate (or Kings Cross at week-ends). The closest tube station is in Wood Green (Piccadilly Line).
