Alexandra Park is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Haringey. The area is dominated by Alexandra Palace, a vast Victorian Structure sitting on top of a hill and set within 196 acres of glorious parkland. Known affectionately as “Ally Pally” current facilities include a boating lake, ice rink and bar.
The palace and park are now owned by a trust which is required to maintain them and make them available for the free use and recreation of the public forever. Alexandra Park has its own National Rail Station located on Station Road. It is part of the First Capital Connect Line (zone 3) running in to Moorgate (or Kings Cross at week-ends).
