Advice on renting a property in Southgate
The first step on the path to finding a suitable property to rent in Upper Holloway is to register your requirements with all the primary agents in the area. This should ensure that you are kept up to date with new properties coming on to the market. The rental market is fast moving with properties generally being let within a few days. To secure a rental property by a set date register your details at least a month in advance.
Try and make yourself available for viewings when new properties that suit your needs come on to the market. Unfortunately many properties on the market are a bit dated so you want to be first in the queue when something of a better standard becomes available. Use this page to click through to the local agents' websites on a daily basis in case they forget to give you a call.

Information on Upper HollowayUpper Holloway is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Islington. The area often gets lumped in with Archway as they are so close to each other but Upper Holloway has its own National Rail station on Holloway Road. There is a varied selection of properties in the area ranging from big old Victorian houses to council estates. Most of the larger houses were converted to flats during the 1970s and 80s.
Upper Holloway is somewhat lacking in greenery but, should you have the urge, Hampstead Heath is approximately 2 miles to the west. The closest part of The Heath contains its three bathing ponds, accessed via Millfield Lane. If you prefer to travel by underground there are tube stations at Archway, Tufnell Park (both on the Northern line) and Finsbury Park (Piccadilly & Victoria lines) any of which will take you in to the West End in around twenty minutes.
