Stoke Newington is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Hackney. The area has become increasingly gentrified in the last decade as affluent professionals have snapped up period properties around Stoke Newington Church Street. The area is a very multicultural, with large Asian, Irish, Turkish, Jewish and Afro-Caribbean communities and has also been embraced by modern immigrants from Eastern Europe.

Clissold Park is located to the west of Stoke Newington. The 54 acre park has all the facilities that you would expect to find in a popular local park such as a well equipped playground and a popular cafe (located in the park’s Mansion House) but children may be more excited by the animal enclosure, which houses deer rabbits and chickens, the aviary and the butterfly tunnel. Stoke Newington National Rail Station connects with Liverpool Street via the “One” line. The closest tube is Manor House to the north-west from where Piccadilly Line trains run in to the West End in around fifteen minutes.
