A few tips on buying a property in Seven Sisters
Getting registered with the main local agents is a great first step but to be at the front of the queue when that dream property becomes available you need to be what the agents consider a ‘hot buyer’. Most Estate Agents will focus on the "hot" buyers first as these are the people that the negotiators within the office consider to be in the best position and the most likely to offer on a property.
To be classed as a hot buyer you need to have your finances in place, be pro-active when a new property becomes available and be decisive. If you want to be one of the first buyers that an agent thinks of when a popular property comes on the market pop into their offices when you are passing and remind them that you are still looking. Agents are more likely to remember you if they can put a face to the name.

Information on Seven SistersSeven Sisters is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Haringey. It apparently derives its unusual name from a group of seven elm trees planted on Page Green. The centre of Seven Sisters is to undergo a major facelift over the next few years. Consultation is underway with the residents on plans to transform the area known locally as “Wards Corner” above Seven Sisters tube station between Tottenham High Road, Seven Sisters Road, West Green Road and Suffield Road.
The closest park is Downhills, winner of a prestigious green flag award in both 2006 & 2007. Covering an area of 15 hectares the park offers a wonderful contrast between the recreational grounds to the west and formal gardens to the east. Seven Sisters Station is located at the junction of Seven Sisters Road and the A10. There is a choice of lines; either the Victoria tube (zone 3) or the overground Line to Liverpool Street.
