A few tips on using a Letting Agent to rent out you Highbury property

When letting a property it is common to market it through more than one letting agent. The process differs from selling a property in that a sole agency agreement with a letting agent is relatively rare and there is commonly no difference in fees regardless of how many agents you use. If you are looking for an agent to manage your property you may feel more comfortable with one particular agent, perhaps the one that particularly impressed during their initial visit to your property, and decide to just market your property through them.

Use this site to contact the most suitable Letting Agents. As an example; say you have a house to let in Highbury but are not sure which agents you should be contacting. Start by clicking through to the websites of the agents listed above and see what types of property they currently have available. Do they seem to specialise in houses similar to yours? Also, check if they have a strong presence in your part of the area. When you have established which three or four agents are the most suitable use our form to contact them with a single email.

Information on Highbury

Highbury is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Islington and is probably best known nationally as the former home of Arsenal Football Club. The club relocated about half a mile down the road in Ashburnham Grove in 2006 and the site of the old stadium is being converted in to housing. As part of the stadium move many parts of the area have been and are still being re-developed.

Highbury has a wide range of properties ranging from the Georgian terraces fronting on to Highbury Fields to the affordable housing built as part of the new stadium development. Properties to the south of the area are generally the most sought after. Highbury is flanked by 3 tube stations; Arsenal Station is located next to the site of the old football stadium, Highbury and Islington to the south and Holloway Road to the west. All are located in zone 2 of the underground with average commuting times to the West End of approximately 15 minutes.
