Information on Stroud GreenStroud Green is located to the North of London between Holloway and South Tottenham. Stroud Green station closed in 1954 but the area has remained popular. The railway track became a Parkland Walk and is now London's longest local nature reserve.
The housing is largely Victorian and Edwardian, although these are interspersed with local authority properties built on infill sites since the Second World War. The most popular roads are those along the boundary of Crouch End. The area has a decent selection of shops and restaurants offering Italian, Indian, Chinese and Mauritian cuisine to name but a few. The nearest tube station is Finsbury Park (zone 2 of the Piccadilly and Victoria Line) from where you can also catch a National Rail train into Moorgate.
