A few tips on buying a property in Manor House
Getting registered with the main local agents is a great first step but to be at the front of the queue when that dream property becomes available you need to be what the agents consider a ‘hot buyer’. Most Estate Agents will focus on the "hot" buyers first as these are the people that the negotiators within the office consider to be in the best position and the most likely to offer on a property.
To be classed as a hot buyer you need to have your finances in place, be pro-active when a new property becomes available and be decisive. If you want to be one of the first buyers that an agent thinks of when a popular property comes on the market pop into their offices when you are passing and remind them that you are still looking. Agents are more likely to remember you if they can put a face to the name.

To the east of the station, either side of Lordship Lane, are 2 large reservoirs. The West Reservoir has been decommissioned and now hosts a water sports centre. It has also become the home of all year round wildlife including winter water birds and summer damselflies.
For an even more adventurous day out The Climbing Castle, adjacent to the west reservoir, is considered the premier indoor climbing centre in South East England. The centre is located within a striking Victorian building; formally the pumping station for the aforementioned reservoir.
