A few tips on buying a property in Harringay
Getting registered with the main local agents is a great first step but to be at the front of the queue when that dream property becomes available you need to be what the agents consider a ‘hot buyer’. Most Estate Agents will focus on the "hot" buyers first as these are the people that the negotiators within the office consider to be in the best position and the most likely to offer on a property.
To be classed as a hot buyer you need to have your finances in place, be pro-active when a new property becomes available and be decisive. If you want to be one of the first buyers that an agent thinks of when a popular property comes on the market pop into their offices when you are passing and remind them that you are still looking. Agents are more likely to remember you if they can put a face to the name.

The two parks are equally well equipped with sports facilities but if you just fancy an afternoon walk the formal gardens and lake in Finsbury Park provide a lovely backdrop. Those with a love of the arts should take themselves off to The Kosh where they have been creating live performance events since 1983.

The roads commonly referred to as “The Harringay Ladder”, stretching between Tufnell Park Station and Finsbury Park, have a good selection of Victorian terraces and are ever popular with young couples.
