Information on SouthgateSouthgate is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Enfield. The majority of properties in the area are houses dating from the 1920s and 30s although The Lakes Estate, bordering on Palmers Green, is a very popular Edwardian estate. Other popular areas include the Meadway and Minchenden Estates. In more recent times many modern blocks of flats have been added to the area such as the properties on Leigh Hunt Drive. Southgate has its own Underground Station on zone 4 of the Piccadilly line from which you can get to the West End in a little over 20 minutes.
