Information on Hanwell

Hanwell is located just North of the M4, with Ealing to the East and Brentford to the South. It is situated in the London Borough of Ealing.

As with many areas close to the M4 and Heathrow, Hanwell is popular with people working at or out of the airport. However, with its numerous parks, river frontage and good stock of decent-sized houses, it is also popular with people who want a bit more space within close proximity to London. Prices tend to be cheaper than in neighbouring Ealing but the amenities are still good. The Brent Lodge Park and Animal Centre has a zoo and playground and there is an annual carnival in the town.

Hanwell is served by Boston Manor tube station, which is in zone 4 and sits on the Piccadilly line, just before it reaches Heathrow. There is also an overland station, with direct services to Paddington taking just 15 minutes.
