Information on Fitzrovia
Fitzrovia is a central London enclave that straddles the two boroughs of the City of Westminster and the London Borough of Camden. Geographically, it lies between Euston Road to the North and Oxford Street to the South.
It is a wealthy neighbourhood, with a number of large period properties. Some remain complete residences, whilst others have been divided into apartments. It is well known for the quality and diversity of its restaurants, especially on streets such as Charlotte Street. It is also home to one of tallest and most iconic buildings in London, the BT Tower. Oxford Street is London’s famous shopping area and this lies at the southern end of Fitzrovia.
There are a number of tube stations around Fitzrovia, including Baker Street, Regent’s Park, Oxford Circus and Bond Street. Euston station is the closest overland station, providing links to other areas of London, as well as routes around the country.
