Friern Park, is a formal Edwardian setting that makes up the grounds of Friary House and is very popular with the locals. The closest station to Friern Barnet is New Southgate Network Rail Station on the First Capital Connect line from where you can get to Moorgate (or Kings Cross at week-ends) in around 20 minutes.
