Kingsbury is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Brent bordering Burnt Oak, Hendon and Harrow.
Kingsbury, literally meaning ‘The King’s Manor’ is relatively new, having only been fully developed after the First World War, a fact illustrated by the almost 800% rise in its population in the decade following 1921. Up until the late seventies there were a number of carmakers, including Bentley and British Leyland, based in the area, on the site now known as Kingsbury Trading Estate.
