A few tips on buying a property in Kingsbury
Getting registered with the main local agents is a great first step but to be at the front of the queue when that dream property becomes available you need to be what the agents consider a ‘hot buyer’. Most Estate Agents will focus on the "hot" buyers first as these are the people that the negotiators within the office consider to be in the best position and the most likely to offer on a property.
To be classed as a hot buyer you need to have your finances in place, be pro-active when a new property becomes available and be decisive. If you want to be one of the first buyers that an agent thinks of when a popular property comes on the market pop into their offices when you are passing and remind them that you are still looking. Agents are more likely to remember you if they can put a face to the name.

Information on KingsburyKingsbury is a residential suburb in the London Borough of Brent bordering Burnt Oak, Hendon and Harrow.
Kingsbury, literally meaning ‘The King’s Manor’ is relatively new, having only been fully developed after the First World War, a fact illustrated by the almost 800% rise in its population in the decade following 1921. Up until the late seventies there were a number of carmakers, including Bentley and British Leyland, based in the area, on the site now known as Kingsbury Trading Estate. The area has a high Asian population, which is reflected in the diverse, multi-cultural local character.
Kingsbury tube station, in zone 4, is on the A406 (Kingsbury Road) and serves the Jubilee Line. There are also many buses travelling through, with travel to many local areas, such as Edgware and Harrow.
