Colindale is a residential suburb of London, which spans the boroughs of Barnet and Brent and neighbours Burnt Oak, West Hendon and Kingsbury.

This modern area was developed in the twentieth century. Prior to then the only properties in the area were located on Collindeep lane, which was an important route out of London in Medieval times. Colindale is home to the Royal AirForce Museum, Barnet College, and the British Library Newspaper depository. The area has many semi-detached properties, and is home to a large council estate, Grahame Park. This 1970s construction is situated on the site of the old Hendon Aerodrome and contains over 1700 homes

Colindale has its own tube station, which is on the Edgware branch of the Northern Line, in zone 4.
