Gospel Oak is an urban, multi-cultural area in the London Borough of Camden, neighbouring Belsize Park, Kentish Town and Tufnell Park and sitting on the southern edge of Hampstead Heath.
The name stems from a time when the area was still rural and a local oak tree was the focus for Parishioners to gather under and listen to an annual Gospel reading.
