A few tips on buying a property in Belsize Park

Getting registered with the main local agents is a great first step but to be at the front of the queue when that dream property becomes available you need to be what the agents consider a ‘hot buyer’. Most Estate Agents will focus on the "hot" buyers first as these are the people that the negotiators within the office consider to be in the best position and the most likely to offer on a property.

To be classed as a hot buyer you need to have your finances in place, be pro-active when a new property becomes available and be decisive. If you want to be one of the first buyers that an agent thinks of when a popular property comes on the market pop into their offices when you are passing and remind them that you are still looking. Agents are more likely to remember you if they can put a face to the name.

Information on Belsize Park

Belsize Park is a relatively small area in the London Borough of Camden, bordering Hampstead, Kentish Town, Gospel Oak and Primrose Hill.

Belsize Park was the location of one of the largest World War II underground air-raid shelters but these days it is a popular location for celebrities. This is definitely a place to be seen, with many pubs, cafes and restaurants on Haverstock Hill and England’s Lane. Primrose Hill Park is only a few minutes walk away and offers some stunning views of central London.

There are many premium-priced houses, but the area has a selection of houses, conversions and blocks of flats. Belsize Park Station is a zone 2 station on the Edgware branch of the Northern Line.
