Arranging to let a property in Camden Town has never been simpler

Do you have a property in the Camden Town area to let and need to arrange for some local agents to provide a valuation and advice? Instead of phoning the agents one by one use our valuation request form to contact the most suitable companies. Just check the boxes next to the agents you would like to contact, hit the ‘Request a Free Valuation’ button above and a simple form will appear.

A few tips on selecting a Letting Agent

When letting a property it is common to market it through more than one letting agent. The process differs from selling a property in that a sole agency agreement with a letting agent is relatively rare and there is commonly no difference in fees regardless of how many agents you use.

Start by clicking through to the websites of the agents listed above and see what types of property they currently have available. Do they seem to specialise in houses or flats similar to yours? Also, check if they have a strong presence in your part of the area. When you have established which three or four agents are the most suitable use our form to contact them with a single email.

Information on Camden Town

Camden Town is located between Kentish Town and Regents Park to the north-west of London. The most common styles of property found in the area are Victorian terraces, smaller mews-style houses and Local Authority flats. Further out from the centre you’ll find many larger style mid-Victorian semis.

The area is renowned for its thriving music scene. Bands such as The Clash and Coldplay had their origins in Camden Town. The famous landmark in the area is the Camden Palace, which has been around since the 1900’s. Camden Town is also home to a thriving outdoor market covering most of the Camden Lock area. Unfortunately a fire destroyed some of the market area in February 2008.

Just a short walk along Park Way is Regents Park, covering an area of some 410. The sports facilities in Regents Park are impressive, including 2 large rugby pitches, an athletics track and a tennis centre. For family entertainment check out London Zoo or if you are of a more cultural bent the Open Air Theatre stages Shakespeare plays throughout the summer season.

The area has excellent transport links including two underground stations; Camden Town and Chalk Farm. Both are situated on Zone 2 of the Northern Line.
